    张嵩焘，祖籍河北武安，汉族，1969年11月出生。
    1993年6月湖北美术学院雕塑本科毕业，获学士学位。
    2002年6月湖北美术学院雕塑研究生毕业，获硕士学位。
    现任教于湖北美术学院雕塑系。雕塑系系主任、副教授，中国雕塑学会常务理事；全国城市雕塑建设指导委员会艺术委员会委员；中国城市雕塑家协会理事；中国工艺美术学会雕塑专业委员会常务委员。加拿大the University of Saskatchewan艺术与艺术史系客座教授。

    Songtao Zhang was born in November,1969.His ancestral home is in Wuan,Hebei province.
    Zhang graduated from Hubei Institute of Fine Arts with a Bachelor's Degree in 1993 and subsequently obtained a Master's Degree in 2002. Zhang is an associate professor and dean of the sculpture department at Hubei Institute of Fine Arts.He is the executive director both of China Sculpture Institute and sculpture department of China Arts and Crafts Institute,and the a member both of China Urban Sculptor Association and National Urban Sculpture Construction Steering Committee. Adjunct Professor in the Dept. of Art & Art History in the College of Arts & Science at the University of Saskatchewan.

2017年: In March 2017,Zhang was invited to Canada to conduct academic exchanges,and gave lectures "The space between natural and created",meanwhile his solo exhibition"A Corner" was held in The University Of Saskatchewan,Department Of Art&Art History;
